This is my truck almost stock. The BL was on it when I bought it. At this point I had added 2" spacers to the rear, and the WAAG pushbar on the front, and 235/75/15's.
Here's my truck now, after the Skidz Flares, 31/10.5/15's, Rockcrawlers, etc....

Make- GMC
Model- Sonoma (Not quite a crew, but 3/4 of a crew )
Year- 1997
Mods- (Nothing serious yet)
-Window Visor things
-12in Rockford Punch P1 sub (bought with truck)
-400ish watt amp (also bought with truck)
-Reese hitch reciever
-Some rattlecan paint on interior
-Rattlecan truckbed liner stuff on hooks, then red over that
-Removed valence thing, or airdam, whatever the thing is called
link
-Custom exhaust work (Straight pipe for the time being... cat was clogged)
-Cat also got a new tattoo
link
Future Mods- Flowmaster Super 40 muffler w/ tailpipe (2.5in pipe all the way through)
-2in PA BL
-Black generic rims (not sure of brand yet)
-Trim removal around entire exterior
-Remove rust spot on passenger door
-De-badge cab corners
-Custom front double tube bumper w/ 2 lights
-Custom rear bumper to match
-Window tint
-Shave tailgate handle and relocate it
-Shackles for rear
-Custom rock slider bars painted red
-Custom skidplate for front (or extend current one)
-New speakers all the way around
-Jumpseat enclosure for sub behind driver seat
-Guage cluster for Air/fuel ratio, trans temp, and another (undecided) mounted somewhere in center console or I might even make a little enclosure thing on top of the dash above vents, it will kind of slant downward towards defrost vent
-New shocks
-Paint rear diff cover red
-Paint piece that goes around grille and headlights black
-Clean underbody really well and possibly coat chassis with sealer stuff, dont know exactly what its called
-Clean up some of the sloppy kind of wiring from previous owner in engine bay
-Also clean up engine so it looks puuuuuurdy
-Roll on bedliner kit (It cant be that bad right?)
-Cold air intake
-Rear wheel spacers
-New batt for sure
-Maybe do something with the seats, there are burn marks from previous owner smoking
Arrrgghh, I could probably just go on and on with stuff I want to do. It really sucks that I am still just trying to catch up with maintenence though, even though I have owned the truck since last June. I've been trying to find a job that will get me more involved with anything automotive so I can get more hands on and learing experience but too many places want full time people. Being in school still kind of takes away a lot of chances for that. There was an autobody shop that I had a connection to a while ago but they were pretty slow then so they were not hiring, I have been checking back every few weeks or so. That would definately be good for me.
Very sweet trucks by the way. I'd like to see more!

Re: READERS RIDES: Post a picture of your truck
After how many years? I finally got with the program and got a pic on-line to post here. Of course, it was well worth the wait, as I know there's not likely to be another pic like this anytime soon
Quick update on status, since I lost y'all for quite a spell - My family and I are less than 2 weeks away from packing up the U-Hual and heading out. Destination Ozark, Arkansas. I came across an advertisement RFP last fall to manage an airport and run/own the FBO (Fixed Base Operations - Fuel Sales). Well, I put in for it and after much discussion and time, we were awarded the contract! So off we go to "improve" our lives. I got to visit for 2 days back in January, and my son and I were in awe with all that we saw. Whole family is looking forward to the move, and especially the new environment/opportunity. The FBO portion of the contract allows for whole family involvement, a true "family owned/operated".
If anyone here is from that area, drop me a line. I'd love to meet up with you when things get settled in.

Re: READERS RIDES: Post a picture of your truck
Hello!! Just came along this site thought I would drop in and stake my claim!
I have a 2002 S10 Crew! With a custom solid front axle leaf spring suspension. It is on 33" Kumho Mud terrains, has a dana 30 in front for now, and a ford 8.8 in back for now!! Total lift is about 8 inches; 10 with tires!! It has a mini spool in the back; still looking for a locker for the front, seeing as I need to stick the front driveshaft in!! Everything else is stock, but not if I can help it!

Hi All,
I'm in east central FL, close to the space center. While there are numerous "mudholes" around here, I'm kinda through with that in my old age. This is my daily driver, but I do enjoy taking the family out on trails. I have learned quite a bit on this forum, but was never able to get a confirmation email when I tried to join. Finally got in the other day, so hopefully I can contribute a bit to the community.
