fog light switch getting really hot..any have the same

I have a gmc crew and the foglight switch is just under the headlight switch. when I drive at night and turn my fog lamps on . within five to ten minutes the switch gets very hot. almost to hot to touch.

anyones elses crew do this or is it just mine that is trying to flame me..

im not 100% sure but that doesnt sound normal. but with high power lights something has to get hot

Mine does not appear to heat up. I'm running stock fog bulbs. Plus I don't really drive long dist. so what I say probably won't help you.

I would check to see that the bulb is inserted correctly into the switch from the back.
