Rear Output Shaft Leak

Just as the title says i have a leaking seal where the rear drive shaft slips over the splined shaft. I ordered a rear shaft seal from autozone but it was the wrong kind, i think it was for inside the tcase on the main shaft, because the inside bore wasnt big enough for the driveshaft to slip through. so im just wondering what part number the seal is that is right at the tail of the tcase that has the rubber boot on it for the driveshaft.

will this seal work? i want to get this leak fixed and dont want to order the wrong seal again haha

Looks right to me. Measure your shaft to be sure. Went to a GM parts website and entered the number shown on the rock auto page you listed and this is what came back. Hope it helps.

thanks for the info. as i was looking into the seals more i found one that list the 2nd gen s10's so im gonna go ahead and order it.
