I've had my wipers fail to retun to the park position a couple times, though this may not be related, I thought it was good information to save here.

Sounds like a likely cause. The 93 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 I had had crazy problems with the dash board lights going off/on, gauges going wacko. I pulled it all apart and soldered every joint on the dash PCB and never had problems after that. I'll have to look into that. But it's almost like it's not bad enough of a problem to bug me yet. lol
