Vacuum tube Question

Anyone have any idea what this vacuum tube is and where it goes?

I just had to get my intake manifold gasket replaced and this tube is hanging off in space. Don't want to take it back just for this if I don't have to.

It goes in the vacuum reservoir in the drivers fender.

Great. How do I get to that? I don't see anything obvious to attach the tube to.

Okay I found it. Had to use my wifes little make up mirror to find it tucked away completely out of sight.

First it's the makeup mirror then the nail polish remover, Qtips, hairspray then the Turkey baster from the kitchen once you have those all out of their normal place of residence and into the tool box you will be officially banned form your own house for theft of vital supplies by the other half.

Speaking as one who took the turkey baster to drain the antifreeze off the top of a manifold when a simple thermostat change ended up dropping a bolt into the motor the then wife was not amused.
