Looks like my clamp ring on the inside driver side (near diff) is leaking grease. It's coming out right on the outside of the boot and flipping everywhere, wiped it off a couple times. Anybody have this happen? Looks like something rubbed on the clamp ring. Maybe I can just put a new ring on it and fill it back up with grease from a needle nipple. I don't feel like pulling the whole shaft to replace a boot. Will a new boot even slip over the CV joint?
Anybody else's leaking?

I had trouble with that on my old S-10. I was able to use a large hose clamp (worm gear style) instead of the crimped factory clamp.
I havent had much luck with the stock style clamps, even though I have two of the crimping tools
I haven't looked yet, but there should be room do use them on these too.
Do it sooner , better than later. You don't want any dirt or water in your CV's!

I thought of that, but thought maybe would cause vibration. I will try that though. Thanks.

Last year I replaced the inner passenger side CV boot clamp with a worm drive clamp. It had been leaking.
Today during my tire rotation, I noticed the drivers side inner boot had been leaking a little, so picked up another clamp and installed it.
I used a 9/16" width SS band 101mm long. NAPA part # 7051026
It fit just right with no trimming. Cost : $1.69

Since you found a clamp that fits just right and leaking boots are a common problem, maybe this info could be saved or stickied somewhere?

That band is just a little wide, but heavy duty enough to serve to a decade or more. That has been proven on my old S-10.
