Poweraid throttle body
Can someone copy and send some instructions for the parts and installation for this throttle body spacer. I bought one on ebay and I think it is missing some parts. All I recieved was the aluminum spacers (2) and the throttle body spacer. Please PM me if you can help me. Thanks.

I can't do a thing with PDF files but here is AIRAID'S installation sheet for the Poweraid CLICK HERE. It has photos and it looks like you got a raw deal.

May sound like a stupid question but, What exactly does a throttle body spacer do? What is it?

Adds a splash of color to the engine bay and makes it easier to change thermostats is the only thing that my poweraid did for me but, there's different opinions on them.

That's cool that they are willing to stand behind their product.
The TB spacer also helps to line up the intake a little better after a bodylift.
I installed one to create turbulence at the EGR tube interface. Hopefully to better help in mixing of the EGR gasses. Kind of like a "Dog whistle" in that respect though. How do you really know it is working?

Changing T-stats will take you 5 minutes "tops" with the TB Spacer. I have had to swap mine several times but, hopefully with my new intake with solve my problem.SONOMA915 wrote:............... I am getting mine so that it will be easier to change t-stats.

If you have a BL, they will work together. I would think that they will with a goodmark style hood as well. I just know that the FIPK is not recommended with the spacer but, have not read any threads where someone actually tried it w/o a bl and it failed.SONOMA915 wrote:I have a buddy that races, he is also sponsered by K&N. He said he could get me a full intake for $185. I may try to get that also, even though I'm pretty sure that they will not work together.

That's a pretty darn good price. They quoted me around $700 - 800 for just the installation... not including the body lift parts!!! I decided to do it myself, it's not that hard. Just takes time.
