Is that a 1.5" or 2" receiver?

Looks pretty good and hidden. It has to be better than tugging on the bumper or a spring shackle :D

I haven't seen many either. Should suffice.
Pick up a piece of 1.5" OD square tube, drill a hole for the hitch pin and one for a clevis , or "D" ring and you're good to go :thumb:

I am not sure how the "class" system works? Maybe someone will fill us in :mg:

i don't know much about the class system either , but a class II would have costed me more because they make less of them . Go figure . And they discontinued the class I for my truck . It kinda sucks that I could not get a hitch with a 5000lb rating , to match the towing capacity of my truck . But I think if I were going to tow that much I would get a fullsize Chevy instead .

Info I found on the hitch class system Enjoy :D

Class 1 (Class I) hitch
Trailer hitch with capacity of up to 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight.

Class 2 (Class II) hitch
Trailer hitch with weight-carrying rating of up to 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 300/350 lbs tongue weight.

Class 3 (Class III) hitch
Trailer hitch with weight carrying rating of up to 5,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 500 lbs tongue weight. Also sometimes used to refer to a hitch with any 2" receiver, regardless of rating.

Class 4 (Class IV) hitch
Trailer hitch with weight carrying rating of up to 10,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 1,000 - 1,200 lbs tongue weight. Although many times any hitch with a capacity greater than 5,000 lbs gross weight is referred to as a Class 4.

anyone have a hitch with the PA body lift and are using the PA bumper relocaters??? bought a class 3 hitch today and the holes hat would bolt through the original bumper brackets now are too low....not a good idea to only have one bolt through the bottom of each frame rail to attatch the entire hitch to the truck????

i don't really want to put the stock brackets back on and have my bumper 2" lower with that big ugly gap :puke:

Yep , do a search for raising hitch and you should find a wealth of information.
