30x9.5/15??????

Post by apcrews10 »

I am in need of putting tires on my crew and I was just wondering if I would possibly be able to put 30x9.5/15's on the stock rims or a set of 15x8's and have them fit on my stock truck? Need help bad. :(

They work fine on stock rims. Mine are yokohoma geolanders. Each manufacturer 's 30" tire vary a little in size. I think mine are 29.7" :D

I think you will have rubbing issues without fender modification or lift.

Mine rubbed with the stock optional offroad tires (235/75-15), under heavy articulation.

Well, I'm getting some BFG All terrains 30x9.5x15s put on my zr5 wheels (from jeggers! :thumb: ) as we speak, and I'll put them on my truck tonight and let everyone know how it goes. BFG says their overall height is 29.5 and 9.4 section width. Hopefully no rubbing...and if it does maybe I'll crank the T-bars.

Ok, I put the tires on and no rubbing whatsoever! I even put one tire up on a curb and turned it full lock and it still didnt rub. So, for whatever thats worth, the BFGoodrich 30x9.5x15s worked for me.
