s-10 and sonoma
does the s-10 and sonoma sit on the same frame. can u get some parts for a 2002 s-10 and it slip right into place on a 2002 sonoma.
red 02 crew cab, blacked out windows, remington mud brutes, 2 10" audiobahn subs, skid plate, hi-lift jack
If they are almost exactly the same how is the sonoma any better?

In Barch's case - it's because he happens to own a Sonoma.
Mechanically the trucks are identical.
Options-wise - the Sonoma is slightly better appointed.
At one point in time, years ago, GM used to sell the GMC line as a higher-end truck than it's Chevy counterpart - and at a higher sticker price.
Over the years, the GMC seems to have kept the slightly higher MSRP, but you can easily option a Chevy to match almost all of the GMC trim packages.

I'm just jealous
If they would have had the N90 wheels I would be driving one today. I like their hoods and grille better.

S-series frames:

It was not shown for 2001, but I assume...

That makes ten different frames.
