Any Ipod solution for 6 cd radio ?

Post by IBSonoma »

Hello all, I did a search with no luck. I have the 6 CD changer radio ( '04 ) and want to hook up my Ipod. But as i understand with the 6 CD you can't. Any help would be appreciated. I'd prefer a direct hook up as I havn't had much luck with the Itrip etc.

I deleted the cassette player on mine to add aux inputs.
I'm not sure if there is an adapter that will help your situation. Here is the thread that may offer some avenues to check out- Radio Mod

An in-dash FM modulator will let you add inputs to any car stereo. Just put the box inside the dash somewhere with a switch for the power to it and run the inputs out somewhere. The radio antenna connects to it, and it connects to the stereo. To listen to your iPod, turn on the modulator and tune the fm radio to whatever the modulator is "broadcasting" on. I have one in my '95 reg cab and it works great. I used an FM transmitter in the past, and this just blows it away quality wise.
