hey guys i have some ideas on building gas tank sheilds for the crew cabs to add to my skidz that i have for the crew. but i would lik eto see if there is any interest first before i go ahead and do it. i have the ideas down and drawings done but dont want to actually go ahead and build one if its just a waste of money and time. would anyone be interested in one? im thinking aluminum for material as its light. any one else have a suggestion or two that they think would be good for something like this? im only looking for like 5-10 people and i will build them. aswell depending on how large they will be though they may come in close to 200 bucks each. and thats with powder coating in.
please post if you are interested or have an idea that you would like to see go into the sheild.

Justin,
Am interested in a complete (meaning your shield and brackets or providing part #s and places to order them) tank shield if priced right. I really do not think it is feasible for you, considering our market share is so small compared to the non CC S series out there.
Once again, I wish you the best!

This is probably not really related to what you are doin but I have so many scratches in my tank I actually thought about buying a 2 door blazer gas tank that goes in the back where the spare tire goes so it was metal/had a skidplate instead of just bein a big plastic pos
I carry around a tank repair kit with me though so I am not too worried about it.
