I would appreciate any comments or opinions on this system. Might be an alternative to body lift.

i dont know. we just had a member join. matt, he has the 5" truckin lift. i dont know if it will fit our trucks nice. he might of had to do some custom work like paul did.
the web site said s-10's, i would call the manufacturer and ask if it fits crew cabs as well.

So they say they have a 4.5" or 6.5" lift that will work on our trucks? Interesting. So who will be the guinea pig to try it?
I think I'll wait until next Christmas before I get one.

Where are some pics? I'd like to see some details. Yea, I'm not crazy about some aspects of the TM, but it seems to be holding up so far. I guess the 6.5" lift includes a body lift?
And mine really wasn't bad to put on, just followed instructions and the rear brake line brackets.

I saw an AD for these kits in off-road mag and they say there 7" kit(aka 6.5?) is a no cut or welding kit. I went to there site and saw there instructions, no pics.
I would like to see close up of your 4.5" lift.
Thanks,
Con

Yea, what sucks about some of these kits is that you can never find any pictures, they use a generic pic for all the ifs lifts. Are they afraid that you really see what it looks like?
And where are the instructions? I'd like to review them and compare to TM's.

Yeah, someone at the Dodge board had loads of problems with TS. Their kit had many bugs(might be a dodge thing too though) and the installer TS sent him cut something he should not have and took off. If you can scan those pics, that would be great. From what I'm gathering, the TrailMaster kit has much better installation manual but the TS kit has little(or none) cutting to be able to return to stock(please verify this). Atleast I have a year or two to decide on a kit. I'm probably going to get a place to install it just to be on the safe side. I found a local shop that installs and sells most kits anyway. http://www.rmsoffroad.com is the place and they did a caddy EXT lift keeping the active suspension.
