MSD Blaster coil

Post by HenryJ »

Well the advice was good. I , of course did not listen.

The MSD Blaster coil and MSD ignition controls should not be used together.

My coil died suddenly today :x and at such a young age. It was just 20 days short of one year.

I still had my leaky stocker, so that is what I'm running until I find a suitable replacement.

For those who are running the MSD coil...carry a spare and the tools needed to change it. Mine died a sudden death and made me tow it in

I do think they have quality products, "when used as directed"

They do not recommend using the Blaster coil with a MSD ignition control. I thought it would work as well as the stocker , but was wrong.

It would be interesting to find out what goes bad and why.
