TRUCKIN LIFT?

Post by KYLE »

I can't seem to find any one who sells the 7" ts lift kit for our trucks. there is a truck in the member pages who claims to have it, the pics look like more than the 5" tm lift. does anyone know anything about this lift or where I can get one? I'd rather do 7" suspension than 5'' and a BL.

There's probably more than a few people here that would recommend that you not deal with this kit (and company) though. Just my $0.02

I've been there already and can't find it? do they still make one? I need a lift more than five inches without an SFA conversion. what can I do?

Design and fab one yourself?

Seriously though...there's so many people with bad things to say about TS/AIM that I don't think I'd even buy a set of bolts from them. However, if you want to chance it, just search for "X4-KIT6-CV94XX" on their website and don't put in your make and model of vehicle. That's another thing that makes me wary of the kit is that you can find it without soecifying your vehicle, but as soon as you do, it says there's no kit available. :?: :?

6" SL for the ZR2 will clear 33's on the road. but will rub in the offroad.
the zr2 has almost 33" wheel wells

6" SL will proly clear 33's for street, but defintely not offroad and defintely not wide 33's at all...the crewcab only has 31" wheel wells

i dont know what your beef is with truckin suspension, but they are always there to help me. everytime i call they answer my questions and have what i need. and the 7" suspension lift is listed as a 6.5", they just call it a 7" kit. my kit is great. rides just like it did when it was stock, just alot higher. i added the body lift so i could really flex out when i went off road. but other than that i like TS/AIM lift kits. so before you start hatin on TS/AIM you need to get you facts straight.

No offense...but I did have my facts straight. There's a lot of people on a lot of boards that have had problems with TS/AIM. You're the only one I've heard from that's had no problems. And that's good...you're the lucky one. Hobie and others have seen the same thing. If you've had a good experience...that's great. All we're trying to do is pass along information to help him make a good decision.

I second AZ, he does have his facts right. It took my 3 weeks to get the kit on my truck only to have it last 4 months  . I paid extra to have the kit sent to my house fast, well the 15 other boxes of parts they should have sent me in the first place. Which half of then were pointless anyway, I must have 16 U bolts and plates just sitting here. But even thought I paid extra for fast shiping at first, they MADE me pay shipping for there f*** ups. No matter what I would say to them they wouldnt send the parts unless I payed, and on top of that they stole my pics for there mag ad. Honestly I would love to sue them not for the money but just to put them out of the market.

33"s? no way, 6"s is an axle flip in the rear which is what I had. 33s would rub the rear just sitting still. who knows how bad the front would be. 32s may fit, but that extra inch isnt worth it
