ZR2 rear axle
So after blowing 3 different pinion seals (yes I said 3) and a whine from the rearend I found a guy on craigslist that was parting out an extended cab. I get there and realize it's actually a ZR2. Bonus. Paid $350 for the rear end a hitch and the springs and the bilstein shocks. Put it all in the CC yesterday just to find out the ZR2 springs will not work. One way the driveshaft goes too far into the transfercase and the other way the tires sit too far back in the wheel well. No biggie, I just installed the 2" lift shackles I ordered a couple months ago. All in all I'm happy w/ my upgraded rearend. Just had to share w/ you guys as I knew y'all'd be proud of the deal since stock axles from the junkyard around here run $700.

Re: ZR2 rear axle
Sounds great. Now you don't need the rear spacers
