Looking for plastic nerf bar inserts;skids
I am looking for the plastic inserts that go in the factory zr5 nerf bars, I have two that have cracked/fallen off and the dealer said you can't get them any longer. I noticed a few ppl with the same problem as me, just hope someone has them on here, I no they are had to come by.
Thanks

Could a piece of Diamond plate be cut to fit? Sikaflex will adhere it without problems.

Na I want my bars to look as they did when I bought my truck, I don't want third party bars, nor have to do some kind of make-shift. Although I do appreciate your suggestion. I just find it odd I can't get these parts for an 03' S-10 yet if you wanted to rebuild a classic/muscle car there is every little piece available out there.
Thanks

It took lots of years before the aftermarket started manufacturing all those muscle car parts. I doubt that the S-10 crew cab will ever make that status.
Your best bet is going to find a good set of bars. Try Car-part.com
LMCtruck.com is another option to check.
I doubt you will ever find a pristine set of pads by themselves. No one with a good set would pull them from the bars to sell when they can sell the bars complete for more.
I have not seen replacement pads for sale.

I have 3 plastic covers, but 2 of them are mounted on a brand new nerf bar that I'd like to sell complete. So I have 1 single plastic cover and one complete (drivers side) nerf bar for sale. I will sell these very cheap but you must pay shipping. PM me if you want to make a deal

I yanked my nerf bars relatively early. I gave them to a counter jockey. He never put them on his CC. I'll try to remember to ask him if, he still has them next time I see him.

That would be great. I broke my drivers side cover by catching it with my footware entering the vehicle after the lift. Im sure with anew one it will happen again.
Worst case, I could always use self taping screws on it, have them go through the mounts and hold it there.

I've been looking for his rig as I pass the store and just haven't caught it this week.
