problem with front end/ suspension of my crew cab

on my crew when i hit the brakes it pulls hard to the left and when i let off the brake it goes back like it was.... what could cause this? one time when i hit the brakes i stuck my head out the window and saw the left front time pull to the inside what could cause that? sway bar? shocK?

i ment the left front tire not left front time

That could be one of many things. What have you done, thus far, to try to locate the problem?

I had this problem before and i forget if it went away by itself or when i got an alignment but its back now. I think it could be one of the brakes is hitting harder than the other or possibly something to do with my torsion bars.

Check slide pins or stuck calipers.

i ment to put it pulls to the right when i hit the brake and then itll come back left when i let off. . . . .i did tighten my torsion bars...would that cause it? and i pretty sure it isnt the calipers. . . would a alighnment fix it maybe?

im geting in a body lift on wednesday and i would like to get it fixed or atleast know what is causeing it and suguestions on what it might be?

If occurs during braking is is a problem with the brakes. Alignment will not fix it and the sway bar and shocks do not create this type of problem.

Brakes make a good suspect in this scenario but, it may be a loose part in the steering, couldn't it? TRE?

the only think that makes me think it isnt the brakes is becasue when u hit the brakes the left front tire moves in....the top of the tire moves in ( towards the frame) and the botom moves out ( away from the frame) and causes the truck to move off to the right and the stering becomes slack

actually i was wrong the top of the tire moves out and the botom moves in

Normal changes in camber as the weight is transfered forward.

Check your brakes. Pins and pistons as well as the condition of the pads and rotors.

Inspect the wheel bearings and suspension parts while you are there.
There is no magical easy fix. You have some work ahead.

i just changed the pads and checked the brake pistons....when i rock the tire back and forth i can hear something moving......im geting a body lift wednesday and the people that are putting it on for me said they would check it out....it seemd to start when i craked my torsion bars and also when im going down the high way my truck also seems to pull to the right and also in braking like i said

sorry if i came across not wanting to take your advice....i will deffinitaly check the brakes...also it only does it when your going foward.....it WILL NOT do it when your turning or in reverse

Let us know what the final result is. It sounds like you are paying to have a BL installed. What is the going price and why are you having it done versus DIY?

im having it done cause im only 17 and dont really have the time and i have a brush guard that bolts to 4 spots in the frame and im not sure how to raise it

All of your questions can be answered here. How much are you paying for the BL? That money can buy allot of tools.
