swampers vs. BFG Mt
ok so in the near future after my bfg ats wear out im going to either put bfg mts on my stock rims or swamper tsl radials. im sort of torn. i know i can fit the bfgs no prob (i have an extended cab 4x4 with t-bars cranked a little over an inch and a 1.5 inch tuff country aal) the swampers im looking at are 31x9.50x15 and im a little worried i might have clearance issues, any opinions?
i think youll have issues. i have 2" body lift and t bars cranked, my 31's rubbed/rub the back of the front fenders. i cant see you running them without a bigger lift unless you dont turn

I would do a BL with that setup and you should be OK...maybe some minor rubbing, nothing a BFH wouldn't help out though.
You might consider Wrangler MTR's also...I had them on my S-10 and loved them.

If you're rig is more of a dedicated off-road rig, nothing beats a good set of Swampers, but if you use it for any bit of time on pavement, nothing beats the BFG M/T's for longevity and off-road traction combination. Swampers don't last long on pavement. My BFG M/T's are lasting so long, I just got a tire cover for my spare so it won't dry-rot! Cause I want to rotate that one in on my next new tire purchase of the same.
