Fun drive to work yesterday
So going to work yesterday I picked up a coworker and headed in. We take a dirt road to cut off about 10 minutes of commuting time. The temps had been over freezing for the last two days and in keeping with VT roads it had turned to mud allowing ruts to form then it froze overnight so the road was washboard, potholed, rutted and icy it's also all uphill. I was banging along at 40mph in 2 wheel drive hopping potholes, sliding in the ruts and scuffing the rear tire in the fender well. Yes I finally found the point at where my 30x9.5s without body lift will scrape a bit. Behind me another vehicle was slowly coming along, when he say how I was running the road he sped up as well and we both hammered down the road. He was driving a blazer and just couldn't quite keep up with me. I even got a bit of air on one bump. Made me wish I had a video camera connected to my front and rear cameras would have been a great clip.

Sounds like you got a trail ride while going to work. Makes me miss getting paid for the off road adventures, I had

I had a dash to the station the other day that sounded similar.
I responded to a house fire. That night we had six inches of new snow and thirty mile per hour winds. Drifts were up to two feet deep in places on the highway. I caught some good air a couple times. My front tires rubbed once on landing and I am pretty sure I hit the skid on the rear fuel tank once

I felt sorry for that stock blazer trying to keep up with me in the corners. I wonder if he was in 4 wheel drive? I will have to see if I can spot the rub mark on the rear where I heard the scraping sounds coming from might need a tweak for clearance.

Well it did have out of state tags so I might be inclined to think they never saw such fine VT side roads, the pucker factor was not high to me but it might have been their first time on the roads in that condition. We are fast approaching Mud Season here which makes many side roads virtually impassable for a month without 4 wheel drive and lots of chutzpa.
