Noise from intake?
Tough one to describe , but I've got a new noise! It started a few days ago.
It sounds like something stuck in a fan motor. Kinda like a flapping or ticking sound.
It is coming from somewhere around the top back of the intake. Maybe around the distributor or the EVAP purge solenoid.
Irritating and noticeable inside.
I'd like to strangle the little tiny kid who has a ten inch bicycle , and put cards in his spokes back there!
I've done quite a bit of looking and can't find it.
I guess I'll ask about it if it doesn't go away when they replace the tensioner pulley on warranty.

No increase underload. It does speed up with the rpms but is not as noticeable in the higher rpms.
It can be heard best at an idle. Sitting at a stop light, I can really hear it.

I can hear it both under the hood and inside the cab.
Sounds more like a flapping or ticking than a leak.
Pretty sure it's not the exhaust, and doesn't sound like a vacuum leak.
