Was looking for info for making a custom swing-out rear tire carrier and rear bumper setup for my Blazer.
Came across this guy's setup on his 89 toyota: Similarities is that he is customer fabbing a lot of his own stuff, like we have to do for our trucks, and he was IFS, went with an IFS lift, and then decided to go SAS:

And his custom rear swing out tire carrier - (which he has since converted into an external water/gas/tool rack.)

yeah - too bad it failed while he was miles away from anywhere.....
He does state that his kit was a no longer produced kit that had issues to begin with - but in the end he went with the SAS setup.

I read his website further and this dude has a lot of good ideas.
I would like to later on in life have a truck where I could set up a camper shell in the back with a platform like that and go out roaming remote places in a self dependant truck.
