Removing stock radio antenna
Ok does any body out there know how to remove the stock radio antenna? I want to replace it with a shorter stubby one that will not catch so bad on overhanging branches. The stock one does not seem to just want to be screwed off like the one on my old dakota even tho it seems to have wrench flats on the base. Any help would be appreciated, 2002 sonoma CC, stay safe, mjmcdowell

Mine was loose and I used the flats to tighten it. Can't recall what size metric boxend wrench I used but, it was in my old craftsman ignition set.
