O2 Sensors
Are all three O2 sensors on the CC suppose to be the same? I pulled them off yesterday and the upstream passenger side sensor is Denso and the drivers side sensor is Bosch. The downstream sensor is another Denso. The two Denso sensors are the same. I just want to make sure before I spend the $$$ on some new ones.
Re: O2 Sensors
I would either delco or denso, I don't use Bosch in GM vehicles, only fords.
Re: O2 Sensors
Yeah I ordered 3 of the Denso sensors last night.

Re: O2 Sensors
Only replace the ones that arent working. Otherwise its pretty much a waste of time and money.

Re: O2 Sensors
After 100k miles they probably do need to be replaced. The performance degrades with time and contamination. That said, some never get replaced until one fails. My luck is that they tend to cascade at that point. One fails, then another until I replace them all

Re: O2 Sensors
All 3 are the same AC Delco number. Just replaced all 3 beginning of spring at 90k. Same time I did the fuel injector upgrade.
Re: O2 Sensors
Sensors replaced, code cleared and the next day the damn idiot light came back on. With that said the idiot may be me... Tying to save some money I cut the cat off and gutted it out. Broke one stud off the back end and after 2 hours of hammering, chiseling, and cutting I finally got it out, replaced broken stud with a nut and bolt. Put it all back together again, cleared the code and all was good so I thought. Two days later the wife and I went to the casino about a 50 mile trip. Pulled into the parking lot and what do you know the light came back on. Ordered a new cat online from advance auto the next day and of cores I ordered the wrong one. The new cat is 3" in/out and I needed 2.5" in/out. I usually do a lot of research before I buy but being frustrated I just went for it. CAN YOU SAY IDIOT!! I've been researching things and WOW I still don't have a warm and fuzzy on which one to get. Could someone give me a boost... PLEASE!

Re: O2 Sensors
LOL opps. Yea these are not the cars of yesteryear. Gutting the cat just pisses the computer off even more.
