recalls
Since I bought my 2001 CC used in 2003, how can I find out if any recalls were ever performed before I owned the truck. What (if any) realls have the 2001's had. And Lastly, If recalls were not performed what can I do about it now that is 2-3 years later? Thanks Guys

Re: recalls
Any dealership should be able to "run" the VIN and it will show work that has been done, or needs to be.jayall23 wrote:... how can I find out if any recalls were ever performed before I owned the truck. ...
Recalls are safety related and they should fix them regardless of being outside the warranty period.

Here is a start. Recalls are at the top. The rest of 115 of them are service bulletins. But yea, the dealer has to verify the VIN to see if it's included (which is a way for them to get out of warrenty work IMO).
Mmmm, notice the campain for warrenty extension? I wonder what up with that. Maybe cause of the engine vibes people are getting?
