Noise under dash

This weekend we went on a drive and I kept hearing a clicking noise at times coming from under the drivers side dash, it sounds like when the daytime lights switch over to the headlights. It was loud enough to hear it on the highway six or seven times. Anyone else had this same noise?

It could actually be your hood hinges. There is a bulleting out about them that says to put spring washers on the bolts as the bolts tend to have too much clearance and the hood will rattle, sounding like it is in the dash. Search for hood hinge rattle on this board and you will probably find more info on it
