HVAC Controls compatiblity
I am looking at a set of replacement HVAC controls for my crew from a blazer. I am curious if they are compatible with the crew. The fan control has Auto, off, various speeds. Under it has a fresh air and recirculation button. Middle is temp selector with temp numbers on it. Right side is postions with AC button and Rear defrost under it.
Would be nice if this is compatible, It would be nice to be able to control my re circulation or not and the AC. I dislike that on the crew if you want both top and bottom it is in AC position.

auto hvac controls are not a plug-n-play swap. the module, harness and sensors are needed. No one has done the swap yet.

Yea, I never got back to respond to this but I finally got photos of the rear of both units and now I see they are completely different. I had the opportunity to buy one for about $15 locally. When my T case switch went it took out my dial. It sorta works and sorta doesn't. Probably low on my list of stuff to change out at the moment since I can still switch between upper and lower it just has problems keeping the fresh air door closed in MAX AC if you are accelerating.

Check you vacuum lines near the brake booster rot and make sure the reservoir in the fender is connected.

Ok I changed the brake lines near the brake booster back when I got the truck, because they were rotted. I was not aware of the reservoir in the fender, I assume its in the driver side fender then?

Yup. Feel under the lip for the nipple that should have a line attached to it.

Awesome. Ill have to remember to do this when it finally returns from the body shop. Would that also cause my switch to make some hissing sounds? It does it in every position, not loud but its light.

Nope. Hissing is a leak.

Re: HVAC Controls compatiblity
So the switch is probably bad then. I already had the revised T case switch installed, but I was not the one who did it. I was not aware of the trans fluid coming back up in the lines issue at the time. I guess I should take it apart and inspect.
