Hi...I'm Mark...and I'm a mod-a-holic
That's right...another toy for me. Since Hobie bailed on our wheel swap deal ( just playin' ) I decided to go out and buy a set on my own. I got some 15x7 Rockcrawlers with 4.5" backspacing. I figured that would give me a little extra width, but still allow for clearance of my 30's. At least when I measured this morning with the tires at full lock there seemed to be enough room.
Because of the "custom" backspacing, and the fact that the S-10 aftermarket sucks and they had none in stock, they were ordered and should be installed in a week or so.
Oh yeah...pics will be up eventually too.

ya, hopefully they will clear. i think the fact that your wheel is only 7'' wide will help
cant wait to seee pics. that wide stance will look sweet

Mark, are you still going to be running your wheel spacers? And may I ask where you ordered them? (Are they the ones that have the simulated beadlocks or the original ones?) Thanks.

I'll definitely still keep my spacers on the rear...it would look rediculous with the front wheels outside the wheel well and the back ones still inside.
I got them from a shop here in Phoenix...Desert Rat Truck Centers. They have a website and you can order from it too...www.desertrat.com Their tire and wheel packages are a pretty good deal. I think they have 4 wheels like the ones I got with 30x9.5 BFG MTR's for $500-$600 or something like that. Shipping is about $80-$100 on top of that, but that's still a pretty good deal I think.
They're the ones just like Hobie's...no fake beadlocks.

Well...the wheels went on today. Definitely looks different with the black rims. It makes my tires look really dirty.
And for all you guys itching to post "Where's the pics!??!"...they'll be up by early next week once I get the film developed.
