S-10 History Question
Have 4x4 S10's always had IFS, or did any earlier versions have a SFA?

It is better than some of the radius arm designs , used in the LUVs.NTXCrew wrote: is it much better than earlier designs?
As for the S-series line , it has not changed much since the beginning.
I think the design is pretty good , for what it was designed to do.
For daily driving , ride , and handling the IFS is the only way to go.
Check out the rally racers (baja 1000, Dakar, etc.) IFS is the design of choice there.
SFA has it's place too (mud, rockcrawling, etc.). I don't feel that there is any one suspension choice that is best for all uses , or terrains.
The IFS is my choice for the desert terrain, and driving that I do.

I remember driving through Kentucky or Tennesee when the Luv was new and saw about 10 SFA trucks at a dealership. Must have been converted.

Yeah, I noticed that. Did she actually model on top of your hood, or did you superimpose her on to it?Justin wrote:Yeah, now if only I could get some of those red/green door ornaments..........
