Fender flares

I don't have a ZR5, but I wondering...do ya'll think I could switch out my factory flares for the grey ones? Do they stick out further than the regular crew flares? Also, it looks like the front flares are actually part of the front quarterpanels...do the front ZR5 flares go over those or replace them (are they metal, or plastic/rubber)? I know Brule has some Bushwacker ones, but it looked like a lot of work on the rears. Thanks.

it appears the zr5 front flares do stick out more but not by much. they appear to sit on the fender like the other flares do(like the bushwacker and zr2). The rear look alittle bigger but I don't think by much. I do like the look of them but they are pricey I'm told so unless you find them in the junk yard, might not be a cheap mod to do.

I have the ZR5 with the flares your talking about, and they are expensive if you get them from GM...there are some threads about where you can find them here..about the cheapest I've found were about 237 or so...they come black so you can paint them to match any color...

I thought the none ZR5s had flares? If not, and you want some cheap, im thinking about going to those bushwackers like Brule. But im going to wait untill i see how well my new tires are going to clear. But yes, the dark flares look alot better then the body color flares.
