I am taking off my throttle body to change the throttle blade & clean it. But I can't get the
cruise cable off, the GM-SI manual says not to remove the "C" clip or unscrew the adjuster, just use a flat blade screwdriver to pry it off, but if I pry too hard, I'm afraid it'll break. Is there a better way, or should I not worry about breaking it.

I didn't take the throttle body off. It can be removed without full disassembly.

Re: R & R cruise control cable
I know, but after that @%&# cruise cable, and the throttle cable it's only 5 bolts, and then I can clean it real good & change the throttle blade without dropping anything down the intake (including a bunch of carb. cleaner & carbon). That's a And I tend to be a clutz.green02crew wrote:I didn't take the throttle body off. It can be removed without full disassembly.
