Finally my sound system is done getting installed. I didn't do it myself, I chickened out and just decided to have Car Stereo One in Latrobe, PA do it. Great place. I highly recommend them. Took them 4 days for me to finally get it back but it was worth it.
Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9886
Was installed previously, but here's a picture anyways
Dash Speakers: Alpine SPS-406
Front Speakers: Alpine SPS-600
Rear Speakers: Alpine SPS-600
Amplifier: Alpine PDX-5
Installed on a custom amp rack they built over the jack mount. Also has a piece of the rear trim panel cut out that was heat molded and riveted to the side panel for a cleaner appearance at my request.
Subwoofer: Rockford Fosgate P3L-S12
Mounted against the back of the cab, has rear trim piece from a regular cab S10 (same as ours) cut out so that the sub fits flush against the back.
Overall
It sounds as good as it looks too.
As of now, the rear seat will not lock but I'm going to shim the seat up with a few washers sometime in the next couple of days. Overall I'm very satisfied.

Re: New Sound System
very cool just right for that truck
Re: New Sound System
I agree. I only have the subwoofer level on 7 out of 15 and the bass on 0 and I'm still afraid to turn it up all the way

Re: New Sound System
lol i was the same with my last truck i had the stock radio with a sony explode amp 500 watt and i allways kep the bas and -3 and it was still boomin hard lol
Re: New Sound System
Yes it's a very big improvement.
Anyways, I finally got my rear seat to lock. I had to put 5 washers on each side of the seat and use a dremel to grind out the front two holes and make them oblong as well as remove the plastic bushings on the latch. I also have to shut it kind of hard but well that's what the grille is for and at least it latches now.

Re: New Sound System
I'm glad too. My amp is only rated 300 RMS so the sub is actually underpowered but it's still ridiculous.
