Re: shutting off lighted visors?
Well they are powered with the rear view mirror. You could cut the wires or just remove the bulbs.

If the covers are broke, you might just as well clip the wires in the visor. The covers are not a replacement item. My wife broke both of hers in the Blazer2 so I just got some replacements at the j/y.

Remove visor mounting screws, pull wiring harness out enough to unplug it, reinstall visor screws.

Yeah....what he said...basically you don't have to cut the wires.killian96ss wrote:Remove visor mounting screws, pull wiring harness out enough to unplug it, reinstall visor screws.

In this thread I was talking about the bravada visors upgrade, maybe something to look into:

Basically I'm looking for a heads-up, you will need kinda thing:
My new lighted sunvisors showed-up Friday. I want to put them in this weekend. Does anybody know if the plug will be right there for them or do you think/know I will have to wire them-up on my own. Right now a DO NOT have lighted visors.
Thanks in advance
