Pro Comp 9000 Shocks
i have some in the front and bilstiens in the back. i have to say that they feel the same, and considering they are 50 bucks cheaper a piece, i would go with them. sure the ride is stiffer and you can feel alot more of the road, but it is hella better than rubbing everytime you hit a big bump. but when you load the truck down with trailers and stuff, you cant really tell. my wife didnt even notice the difference. and after 37k miles on the stock ones, those are trashed! stock shocks suck! so i say get them IMO

What was the price? I'm getting prices on the Bilstein's and the best so far has been $59 each.

well thats good to know, I've been looking, reading, and trying to decide which shock to purchase.
Its between the Rancho RS9000 or 5000, ProComp 9000, and the Bilsteins. Leaning towards the Rancho due to cost and the ProComp if I could figure out if they are better or not. I just think the bilsteins are to much money. I'm not off road that much.

i got mine from 4wp in burbank, i just called them and they shipped them to my house for 30 bucks a piece.
they are high pressured gas shocks just like the bilsteins.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Rancho RSX17000 ?
It is between those and the Bilsteins, I found the Bilsteins for $55.45 delivered! Waiting on a price for the Ranchos.
I know the Bilsteins will last and I prefer the monotube design. But they both have lifetime warranty.
I have a local Rancho dealer, the Bilsteins would have to be mail order
