S-10 ZR2 Rims

Post by blks10 »

My buddy wants to give me his aftermarket ZR2 rims. My question is are all the measurments the same for our trucks and the ZR2s? Backspacing and all? Thanks

Stock ZR2 yes. Aftermarket? Who knows?
All the s-series 4x4 wheels are the same rearspacing.

You missed out by half a dozen years. Keep an eye out on ebay or check Carpart.com. They are out there for as low as $40 each now. Complete low mile A+ sets are hard to find though.

I count four pages right now. http://car-part.com/
Looks like a nice B set for $260, C sets starting at $35 each.
$400 for a grade A set with center caps in Idaho Falls, ID.

I found a trailer hitch today and when I went to pick it up the guy opens his shop and what do I see....... A crew cab zr5 all smashed up. But it had a good hitch on it. Got it for 25 dollars. The poor thing rolled like five times. Not to much good on it. All 4 zr5 rims are snapped off. No body parts and I mean NO body parts are any good.

The one in the yard here is really trashed too. Sounds like you made a good score.

I've got cragar 15x8 w/4" backspace. I had to tighten my torsion bars to lift the front and bend the lip up on the rear of each front fender. Still rub a little when going over a bump while at about a 1/4 to 1/2 turn.

That extra inch might be enough to clear but it'll depend on what tire you put on and height of your front end.

Stock sized tires, no BL. That is showing what a change in BS does when modding our rigs.
