Hey, Didn't want to start a new thread, but probbaly should.. quick question.
I replaced the vaccum seal in my newly acquired 03 crew cab. No problem. I was looking at the old one while in the garage tonight, and i see it had a 0-ring on it where the threads end, you know. I don't recall the replacement one one having an o-ring????
do i need to pull it and put an o-ring on? is ther eone on it? ???
thanks
Just replaced my vaccum switch... o-ring?

You do need to pull it and install an o-ring.HenryJ wrote:I reused the o-ring off of the old switch since it was in good shape, and pliable. If in doubt replace it.
