Have yall noticed that if a door is not shut all the way, that there is no indication other than people falling out or the door shaking? Mine is like that, any one else?

I have only had one incident with a door left open. I left the grocery store and did not close the rear door all the way. I made a left turn and spent the next few minutes picking the groceries up off the road and keeping other people from running the stuff over. I have noticed that if the drivers door is open the warning tone goes off but if the other doors are open or ajar there is no indication. You make a good point I had thought that was a standard safety feature that should be on all vehicles. How could the NTSB have missed this or is it not a law( as if we need any more ). I don't know myself I have tried to avoid most of the politics in auto making most of the rules take the fun out of driving.

Yes... I've noticed this as well. My 3 year old son like to play in my truck and very often doesn't completely close the doors. So, at least once a week, I have to stop a on my way to work in the morning to get out and re-close all the doors. I haven't had anything or anyone fall out yet though.

Should I take it back to the dealer to check it out? Or is it a waste of time?

I noticed that too. It appears the front doors, if you lift the handle when locked, will activate the dome light. the rears do not. So it apears it acts like if the rear doors are really "Manual". It is a shock now a days not to have a warning that the door is ajar but I don't think it's required(esp. for a light truck). Do you guys know if the blazer's rear door warn?

Just walked out and checked

Only door that sets off the chimer is the driver door on my Blazer.

Hmm, makes me wonder if opening the rear doors won't set the factory alarm off either. I'm not tryin' it now though (I'm at work).

A motor mad three-year-old German boy has crashed his father's car twice in four days...

Using a ladder, the boy stole the keys to his father's Honda Accord, started the car and ploughed it into a nearby Toyota, causing some 5,000 euros (,500 pounds) of damage but escaping unharmed...
