shocks
whats the best kind of replacement shock to buy for a 2002 sonoma...i still want the truck to ride good...but i still want it to be ferm enough for offroad use..so whats the best kind to buy...thanks

There really is a huge amount of information available on shocks here. Bilstein and Rancho are good subjects to search. Part numbers, best place to buy, etc. it is all there.
If you plan to keep your truck long term, Bilstein is a good investment. They are a lifetime shock absorber for most. The design will easily outlast others at least two to one. The ride is just nice and they perform really well on the rough stuff too.
Consensus on the Ranchos has been that they ride firmer and are less expensive.
If you only plan to keep your truck a few years a less expensive shock is all you need. Any shock will be a huge improvement over the stock ones.
