Brake Upgrades

What has everyone done to their brakes? Mine seem pretty weak.

Weak? My ABS has saved my sheetmetal more than once in traffic. I'm very pleased with my brakes. Other things, such as all the creaking and rattling, tick me off.

I plan to upgrade to Powerslot rotors with Hawke pads.

Check out www.stillen.com also.

I don't know that there is anything really wrong with my brakes. I might just still be getting used to the fact that this truck weighs over twice what my last truck weighed. But I seem to be pushing the brakes really hard when I get close to where I want to stop.

I would have it checked. The brakes on these 4 wheel disc anti-lock brake trucks seem to to be very strong with little effort. But that's my opinion anyhow. My last truck, 93 Dodge Dakota, you may as well kiss u azz goodbye in emergencies. haha.

The return line was too small on it, there was a recall, but I couldn't get Dodge to fix it. They said my truck is not in the VIN series. I know it was affected, cause if I had to hit the brakes the second time, there was no brakes.
