Me being new, I'd bet I'm the only one who didn't know about this source, but......I was seeking a source for the factory body side molding for a CC, and found this. I know I've read where some have questioned about a source for flares etc.. These guys are pricey, but it looks like they might have the stuff.

They can be a good source for hard to find small parts. Keep in mind that your local dealer may be an option too, and sometimes cheaper.
LMC is a reputable company, but they are rather expensive. Some of the stuff is cheap import junk , so look closely.
I highly recommend signing up for their catalogs. The exploded views are fantastic. They make a great resource for a rebuild.

I believe the side moldings are also available from: www.gmpartsdirect.com as well.turkeestalker wrote:Me being new, I'd bet I'm the only one who didn't know about this source, but......I was seeking a source for the factory body side molding for a CC, and found this.Edited title-HJ

Watch shipping costs closely at all these places. Add that cost and shop locally first. Many dealers have a little flexibility to match a price if it is within reason. If you are prepared to buy online, you have nothing to lose haggling a little locally.

No doubt! I had a recent experience with that. Ordered a part from RPM Outlet. "Free Shipping". Yeah right! The shipping's included in the part price and then they only ship UPS. Guess what? I got nailed for a 12 dollar "residential surcharge"! So, I e-mailed em and asked if they ever shipped USPS or FEDEX? Nope! Not only that but if you return or want to exchange anything they expressly state if it comes USPS, THEY'LL REFUSE IT! So, exchange on the item I sent back came to an additional $9.99. I could have mailed it for less than five bucks! And I believe they're gonna charge me shipping all over again when they send back the exchange parts.HenryJ wrote:Watch shipping costs closely at all these places. Going to be kind of hard to judge that without getting 'hands on' so to speak. Unless someone has had an experience with ordering molding already, and knows the quality from a particular source, that they could share. Some of the stuff is cheap import junk , so look closely.I believe the side moldings are also available from: www.gmpartsdirect.com as well.
Logic would lead you to think that, but I've looked and was only able to find molding for either a standard or extended cab there. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot, if you can direct me I would appreciate it.
I really don't care for the thought of 'trim to fit' so much. I'm certain I could pull it off, but it would be nice to actually get the molding that was factory cut for the truck, or at least a quality aftermarket replacement.
The stuff from GMpartsdirect is gonna be OEM and shouldn't have to worry about cheap Taiwan crap from them. I did check on the ZR5 flares and yep, they have them but better get your wallet out.
I've also bought a few items from LMC but they were OEM parts too. I restored an old Camaro and same thing with those parts suppliers. You had to watch out for China made stuff. Gotta figure all aftermarket suppliers have both good and less than good parts.

I just went to gm parts direct and was able to find the moldings for the rear doors but appears unclear on the fronts. They show the emblems etc. but unless the CC front doors are the same as Ext. cab models I can't tell if the moldings are correct or not. Sorry.turkeestalker wrote:I believe the side moldings are also available from: www.gmpartsdirect.com as well.
