Air Filter Cleaning
I know K&N has a cleaning kit out there for cleaning the filters. I haven't been to town to get one and was already taking my intake off to get at some things when I figured I'd clean the filter. Does anybody know a good process to cleaning/lubing it? Is there anything special in the K&N cleaner/oil or is there a good household substitute I could use instead of putting it back on and going to spend $10 on something that could just be alcohol and 10w30 for all I know. Just wanted to save a couple pennies if at all possible but still do a fair job at maintenance.
