I have a tape player in my crew. It is down by the cup holders. I was wondering if anyone else had that because ive never seen it in another truck.

The 2001 model got the aux cassette. Mine had one. I removed it to install the tray and use the aux function for my inputs.

Who knows the logic behind most of GM's decisions. $$$ is probably the reason.

My wife's 2001 S10 has it.

My 2002 S10 has it.

The 2003 S10 Blazer does not have it.

I just figure that by 2003, most anyone that could afford a new truck were buying CD's

I still have more 8 tracks than I do cassette's.

JaVeRo, you're showing your age. I doubt that many of the young members have even seen an 6=track tape much less a player
