I got the 6" Superlift, loving it so far, but I'd like to jack the rear end up when loaded or towing to level out the truck. Has anybody installed air shocks with a 6" lift??
I'm thinking stock air shocks would be too short, maybe use air shocks from a fullsize Chevy?

Superlift 6" Lift With Air Shocks?
2003 ZR5, 6" Superlift, cut out flares, step rails, 1.5" rear spacers, 15x8 Pro Comp 1079 wheels w/ 3.75" BS, 33/12.50-15 BFG AT-KO tires
shock guys will barade you for putting air shocks on a leaf sprung rig. that said, it can be done and i have seen it. no air in it, and the oil acts as a bump stop. you will also need a nitrous bottle to raise and lower the shock and it has to be fully expanded when you do this. i just dont think its very practical.
also, people will say that "its not correct" and to use airbags or stiffer springs. thats what i would suggest.
