Two piece rotors , C5 parts

Post by 2kwik4u »

Split topic-HJ

That was my thinking. Seems to be working fine. The only corrosion I had was the voids on the back of the 'vette wheels leave small areas on the spacer, and likewise between the rotors, and the spacers. In the end it's not bad at all.

I really want some rotors with aluminum hubs. Reduce some rotating mass, and eliminate the dissimilar metal problem altogether :D

I believe Baer makes 2 piece aluminum/iron rotors called eradi-speed-plus? or something like that, however you might need to upgrade to C5 calipers in order to use them.

I've already moved to the 2wd blazer front brakes. I'm a bracket and some parts away from C5 brakes :D Believe me, when these rotors wear down (10 scheduled autocrosses this summer  ) I'llbe putting C5 stuff on the front :D

Heres some pics :D

And just to remain on topic....you can see some pics of how thick 2.25" adapters look on there :D
