QuadHeadlight Mod
I did the mod on my 02 ZR5, BIG SURPRIZE !!! I have Highbeam DRL so I just spliced the yellow wire behind the driverside headlight. When I started the motor and released the Parkbreak all four headlights came on with the highbeams at midbright. AHL turns on all four at nomal brightness. I did not add any extra relays. TOO COOL !!!

Glad you like it.
You are going to find out that they all four come on with the DRL though. That is why the relay needs to be added. This puts it back to highbeam reduced intensity DRL only.
The reduced intensity DRL system is rather complex. I ran as you are now for a while before I straightened it out with a relay.

I really like having Four DRL lights since the Brights are half bright it gives me an extra viability Safety factor. You have to understand, in Missouri, every vehicle is as invisable as most motorcycles seem to be to the average idiot ,on the road,or turning on to the road in front of you. The more visable the better.Oh , I for got to say , my ZR5 is that suttle Whore Yellow, as I've read it refered to in this real web site. Of course these TWO visual safety factors that I have are best for sited non-colorblind safe drivers, right?

Hey, that works for me. I did not want to put the hours on all four bulbs during daylight operation.
If it works for you, all the better.
There are also "WigWags" if you really want to get some attention. I see some bikes around here using them. Not sure if they would be illegal for a four wheeled vehicle though.
