Wet Carpet
I just noticed that my carpet on the drivers side is soaking wet! I had to refasten my floor mat and found the whole carpet soggy. I have been using the a/c a lot this summer but am not sure if this is causing the problem. Any ideas befroe I just tear into it or am forced to take it to the dealer?

I am not certain but it shouldn't be due to your AC. We all have been running a lot of AC this summer.

only thing I have had done in the front was the replacement of the wiper encoder motor I wonder if they did not seal it correctly when they replaced it. I guess it will be hose time.

I was running speaker wires and such under the front passengers side carpet and found what looks like condensation.
Cant find the reason for that. Carpets not soaked or anything, but there is definitely water under there.

Most of the AC water problems from a plugged drain, or excess sealant at the firewall tend to show up on the passenger side footwell. As do the cases where a heater core is leaking.
I would probably look for sealing problems.
Firewall including column and connectors, doors including weatherstrip and sill plates, windshield, etc.
Water Hose Test:
1. Have an assistant inside of the vehicle in order to locate the leak.
2. Begin testing at the base of the window or the windshield.
3. Slowly move the hose upward and across the top of the vehicle.
Air Hose Test:
# Using a liquid detergent, diluted with water in a spray bottle, spray the window at the edges. Begin at the bottom and gradually move up and across the top.
Important
The compressed air should not exceed 205 kPa (30 psi).
# Have an assistant inside of the vehicle with an air hose.
# Have the assistant aim the compressed air at the suspected areas.
Bubbles will form in the soap solution at the location of the leak.

I think I found it.
I just filled with waterproof seam sealant and will let it dry before putting carpet back down. I will let you know if it is fixed when the carpet dries out.

Well it looks like that was it, have had two major rainstorms since putting in the sealer and no leak. Carpet has dried out with no problem.
