Not currently. The flare installation is under review pending installation of replacement flares.

Maybe a little cut and paste for the mystery lift for truck bed liner on the lower body panelsWalt wrote:Another point to bring up is lack of availability as there are no more sets forsale, so this would have to be the course of action.Steve2003 wrote:Hj, Can't he do everything else besides the skids flares and put rhino liner on his fenders?

I guess the final peice to the mystery lift puzzle was the flares....since Justin is not making them available, it kinda messes up the whole Marvelous Mystery lift? That pretty much sucks! Oh well, I hope mine don't crack like Hj's did!

The cuts can still be made. Then you could liner the area, liner the rockers, or do some body work and paint.
Since the flares are unavailable, and the potential was there for there to be no replacements, that was my understanding from the beginning.
I would probably install some press in caps for the flare holes in the rear fenders. Xmas tree fastners would work. Then liner the rockers and around the flares.
I have replaced the threads related to the flares after proof reading them , fixing some broken links and pictures.
The mod page will not be restored until I have time to replace my flares and add some preemptive measures to the install. Anything we can do to help things , needs to be done and I don't want any bad information out there , should there be an error in my installation instructions.

now you guys are catching onto the "lined" look
that was one of the first things i did when i got my truck. the Michigan winters will make quick work of rusting out the rockers, so this eliminates chips, scratches, and rust. I would suggest using a spray on liner though, the Hurculiner i used was pretty thin and wore down/off in about a year. you just have to re-apply yearly with the roll on.....but it might be the same for spray on
time for someone to be the guinea pig again!

The first mod I did was the Line-X in the bed, and had always thought about doing the rockers since doing the bed. It should blend in pretty nice since the truck is black. Depending on how the new wheels fit once I get them, I may have to be the guinea pig.
Plus, I had also been looking for the Mystery lift page. Just in case the wheels/tires were a little big.

I still think the cuts are a good idea.WVHogRider wrote:...I had also been looking for the Mystery lift page. Just in case the wheels/tires were a little big.
The thread is here - The Marvelous Mystery Lift
If you really want to review the directions for the cuts that need to be made, before I have a chance to edit them they are still available here - Skidz install

Thanks HJ. I made a print out for myself just to have a reference for when it comes time, as I'm in Lousianna again. So my new rims may be sitting at my house right now, and I can't even mount them to check to see if I need to cut.

The fire season and some disasters at work have put a halt to my personal projects.
I'll review my findings when time permits. Until then you can follow Justin's instructions, or access the write-up that I did and use your best judgement.
