New Dual Exhaust System installed
Had a custom dual exhaust system put on the Trailblazer Saturday! The S-E-G has finally came off my face!! When Bill (the owner) called to tell me it was ready to pick up, he said it sounded so good that he drove it up the street and back himself! The sound is awesome. Sounds like a GTO when you fire it up. I was going to do the Flowmaster 50 series for SUVs but he was out of them so we did the Flowmaster Delta 50 which is slightly louder. The Delta 50 is what he did on my Jimmy and S-10. With the radio off it's a tad loud inside and when the DOD kicks in you can hear a change in sound. It gets a littler louder and higher pitched. Bill said I can bring it back and we can try a different series if the drone is too bad. I put about 100 miles on it over the weekend (mostly highway) and the drone is worse than others so I'm taking it back tomorrow to try a different muffler. It sounds FANTASTIC around town, especially from a stop but the highway drone is a little too much even for me.

Here's a sound clip. The clip really doesn't do it justice, it sounds soooooo much better in person!

Thanks Guys! I think it sounds awesome when driving except on the highway
This is the first time I've taken video like that (used my Sony digital camera). I'll have to take video of my Jimmy exhaust too

LOL That's funny I used a Sony Digital Camera too! I don't know what made me take the video today, but I washed the truck up real nice, I was taking pictures, then I decided to do some video! Big time coincidence!

I've got the TB back at the shop today. They're going to try a different series muffler and see if it cuts down on the drone somewhat. Hopefully we can cut down the interior drone without losing too much exterior sound.

that's a clean subtle look, i like it! now you just need to get a new rear bumper without that exhaust cutout on the passenger side
the piping looks real nice too!

The cutout in the rear bumper is actually not that noticable. I don't know if it's the color or what but it doesn't bother me and I'm a picky mo fo.
