New wheels and tires

Post by Jason »

Just put'em on and had to get pictures right away. Fire-bird wheels (16x8) and Bridgestone Dualer Revo's. I love it.

i remember when i got new rims and tires all in the same day. my mouth dropped when i saw the truck. then i felt a little wrench inside my stomach. i mean, i like the stock look but this was cool too but now it looks so much meaner. it was a moment i shared with my truck :o

Hobie - There is definetly something wrong with you. I debated between the Duelers and the Nitto Grapplers.... I think I made the right call with the Duelers. Very quiet, yet aggressive looking. They rub on the frame at lock, but not too bad. I'll have to trim the corner off the fender (not as much as Hobie) before heading to the dunes. Yes, we have dunes in Michigan.

I'm looking for a set of 31" tires and rims off of a 2000-2003 ZR2, wondering if anyone that reads here might've taken a set off and wants to sell for $$$.

Nope, ZR2 & ZR5 use different rims, I like the ZR-2 ones better!

Post over on Zr2.com I'm sure there was someone who likes the ZR5 rims. You might be able to work out a trade?

There are 2 styles of wheels for the ZR2's. They are the same wheels that come on regular S-10's. ZR5's use the same size (BS, Dia, width), but they are a "spoked" wheel. If mine wasn't leased I'd sell/trade ya mine. I used firebird wheels, but camaro and vette wheels will work. You have to be carefull on the vette wheels..... huge back spacing. Check your local junk yards for 4x4 S-10's. Or check out www.ZR2.com. Good luck.

yes zr2's usually come with "PA3" 's or they come with N-90's which is what stock crew cabs come with.
