Re: Interesting ABS Info From ZR2.com
It's a good read, Steve.
I have spent most of my driving life w/o ABS. It's nice but, if gone tomorrow, I could survive

ABS can be good and bad. A lot of people don't understand how the ABS system works, and some people actually pump the brakes on ABS equipped vehicles.
That is a bad thing to do with ABS!
After reading what happened to muslhed, it got me thinking about some of the stuff I have done in my Crew off road. I have done the same type of hill climb before and never thought about what could happen if the ABS engaged. For now on when I leave the pavement and do some wheelin, I will at least pull the ABS fuse to prevent something like this from happening to me.
This info also shows that the ABS is not disabled when in 4wd.

I can not for the life of me understand why I didn't do some serious damage to some government tahoes then.
One always get's a little brave when you're off-road in something that isn't your own and your supervisor has told you to go ahead and try the hill
